This has inspired me to see if I can dig out my Guides camp blanket - many years worth of badges as a Guide and then a Leader, although sadly no dragon boat racing

They’re extra precious once you’re a leader! I’ve not done Guides since 2014 but I still have an absolute tonne of badges yet to be sewn on to anything

Also, can confirm the mini groups are called Patrols and our head leader was known as Captain (or ‘Mammy Sue’ if you were the bedraggled Irish scouts who camped next to us at the Essex Jamboree in 2000)
