I always find adding “declining birth rates” to the list of things to be alarmed about, as quite curious in a world that is too crowded and still growing

Demographically it’s not anything to laugh about. Here in the US we’re already short millions of workers required to pay in to things like Social Security and further economic growth. Look at the example of Japan - fewer young people means stagnation, stress on safety nets 🙂

Sure, valid points, but we need to figure out a way to adapt. Meanwhile the earth has a finite and declining amount of fresh water, limited ability to produce food and we constantly reduce farmland. A continually growing population isn’t sustainable either

I had a coworker, make this argument recently, and after deconstructing how stupid it was, it ultimately came down to “but the Muslims!” These people are brain dead. they cling onto the things that are truly abhorrent and disgusting. Just Christian fascism and fear mongering.
