It’s crazy how the ecosystem is changing so fast. I live on the West side of Hawaiʻi island so it’s pretty dry over here… it’s getting more and more fire prone thanks to the haole koa and kiawe trees taking over 😬

Eeeeekkk, yeah. It's really sad! I haven't been over to Kona side since I retired from driving tour buses for Roberts a few years ago. Funny thing; seemed like every time I had to drive in Kona, it would rain.. Now, I don't like to drive anywhere! But yeah, we have a big problem.
