A young but large sunflower blossom, still light green in the center, was placed in a bottomless glass cylinder and placed on grass with long, light green stems. The stems cling to the cylinder, seemingly framing the sunflower. At the top left and right edges of the image, one end of the cylinder can be seen. Because the flower's interior is in focus, the yellow petals appear as if they were painted.
