Quoting a verse It's not the same as endorsing it. Kirk cited Leviticus rhetorically, not as a call for stoning. Stripping tone/context to claim he was “advocating” is the actual false spin.

He never endorsed stoning. He pointed out what Leviticus actually says after someone quoted it selectively. Quoting scripture ≠ supporting it. Claiming otherwise is a lie.
