That's a hard sell to me man.

It’s only a hard sell to an American. The entire world is NOT the same as your country. Americans quite often make the mistake of thinking their culture is dominant & everyone else thinks & behaves like they do. The USA is not the actual centre of the world like the maps there convey.

I am not religious, at all, and I tend to think religion has caused a lot more problems than it has solved.. But they're not all the same. Many churches are tolerant & accepting of gay/queer/trans folks.

I agree on both points. The extreme minority of church goers actually live the tenets of unconditional love and non-judgment.
