Not even. Communism, at least, has the means of production being seized for all of society. This will just be for Trump's benefit. We are truly just in a dictatorship.

Yes in communism the workers would receive the shares not the government. No one does communism right
USA = USSR Pretty funny.
Are you high
“ELI5” for you: USSR, the gov claimed to represent the ppl, and took ownership of the means of production. Now under Trump, US is heading down same path. I find that funny.
You have the USSR confused with fascist Italy
Fascism doesn’t have any uniform economic approach. Fascists do, however, tend to support private ownership. Common / government ownership of means of production is a core tenant of Communism. Trump’s actions are also similar to Xi, who claims to be communist. Horseshoe theory again?
I specifically said fascist Italy. If you'd rather ignore that to prioritize being anticommunist instead.
I replied on fascism as a whole. Government ownership of corporations wasn’t an Italian fascist ideology either.
If you think Trump's administration isn't corporate owned you're not paying attention.
I didn’t say that.
I kind of want to break the thread with a block
Do as you must.
Only kinda lol
Yeah, it does have common economic characteristics. The mode of production is NOT worker controlled with state-owned enterprises if capitalists control the state. And imperialism is also always found in fascism. I think you're 1) ignorant, 2) disingenuous, or 3) a bot.
“Not worker controlled” isn’t unique to fascism. Imperialism is ideologically agnostic. USSR was one of the worst imperialists! And has never been decolonized. Norwegian side of me is skeptical to all ideologies. They’re belief systems. Like religions. No place in government.
If you don't think Norway follows political ideologies, then you're a fish who doesn't see the water.
I’m looking forward to hearing another American take on “the ideology of Norway” - and of course you’ll understand Norway much better than we Norwegians do. So please educate me.
Yeah, to liberals, there is always the possibility that the earth is flat.
Sorry, you're full of shit
No, collectivized production controlled by a proletarian state is called socialism.
If you want to really get nerdy about it then leaders of the Soviet Union did not consider the SU to be Communist but a transitional economy working towards communism
Yeah, weird how the Communist Party had 100% control for 70 years, but they just couldn’t achieve that utopian transition from socialism to communism…
I'm not even going to waste my time on someone so brainwashed
Yeah, here it comes...
And I personally learned far too recently that communism itself is only the description of a pursuit, not a destination. Getting through this Cold War fog has taken a while.
Putting you on trial and you can find out the charges when you get there
