Kerr County is the worst. No warning sirens, no cell towers, no flood control or abatement. Mystic Camp has a no social media or cell phone policy. NWS offices cut senior hydrologic position, coordinator of county services. Camp was over booked and under staffed.

That’s really sad. Isn’t it mandatory for at least warning sirens? Im sure staff had phones. A land line? I thought the fed cuts go into effect next year. This is heartbreaking
Not sure anybody called from the county, or local NWS. Siren is not mandatory. However the folks at La Junta Camp were awakened by yelling and mobilized quickly with counsel
