It's trickling down to HS kids, my 16yo reports other kids in his AP classes are using ChatGPT to do all their assignments, even during class. UM is going to let (or make) them use AI to do their work so why not?

For the record, he thinks this is idiotic. He's worried about the day there are doctors who haven't actually learned anything since middle school.
