The issue is that it is entirely possible they are christians - christians are a mix of good, bad and indifferent people just like everyone else. Following a doctrine doesn't change anything about a person.

People are individually responsible for their own behaviour. If they say they behave in a way because of something in a book then it changes nothing, it is their own individual behaviour and nothing to do with their religion.

Maga uses religion for all behavior. The thing is, they aren't Christians. Christians dont need excuses for behavior because they do what's right, not what's convenient. Maga doesn't believe in "GOD." trump is their Fake god. It's hypocritical blasphemous bullshit.

They could easily be Christians - it isn't some magical thing. All gods are fake, it is a made-up concept so it can be anything a person wants it to be and it can mean anything they individually want it to mean.
