I hate to say it, but Elizabeth Warren’s candidacy for president was one of the most consequential policy pivots in modern American history. If we fail to venerate its legacy and operationalize its goals, we will lose the nation as we know it. We already have.

I volunteered proudly for Warren’s campaign and would like to hear more about this line of argument, please!

Thank you. Glad you were out there! So was I. So were a lot of us. We believed in her vision because she laid out the most plausible blueprint for removing the influence of money in politics and redistributing concentrated wealth to create economic opportunity for the middle class again.

If we don't do those two simple things, we will lose the American way of life. I'd argue we're already seeing it happen.

And that’s just the campaign’s core thesis. She also offered 81 policy plans for bold, progressive, structural reform across federal law. Plans that could help millions, raise trillions, save billions—collecting dust. It’s up to us to make sure her plans become the party’s policy agenda.

I’ll definitely write more about it in the future! But I’d love to hear what stuck with you from the campaign and what made you a true believer? For me, it might have been “two cents!”

“Blood and teeth” kinda got me, and I loved her “your favorite teacher” energy. But really, I thought she had the best plans, and told the most succinct and effective story to voters about what went wrong and how to fix it.

Plus, as an IT’S A WONDERFUL LIFE diehard, I loved the notion of “George Bailey capitalism.”

Warren and Bernie were a sign of a shifting electorate to the left and we need to figure that out

Two cents” and “only righteous fights” for me. It’s genuinely thrilling whenever I see one of her campaign policies work its way into the mainstream (though typically it doesn’t credit her). She continues to inspire and her ideas remain rock solid.
