The offer will be rescinded if Frog Ferry fails to secure full project funding within the next 12 months. bikeportland.org/2025/08/05/c...

Happy to hear this project is still moving but it's a shame that it seems like it's still being kept on the edge of failure. Fingers crossed it happens someday. It's a service fitting for Portland. 🤞

If it traveled non-stop between their proposed end points, it'd be traveling ~23mph while carrying less than 30% of a single MAX train

Not to be a hater but who is this for? Seems like a gimmick to me. Is there more information on what PCEF grant they're applying for?

Seems like a fun thing for tourists to do in the summer.

Pretty much. I don’t really see it as a great alternative to trimet or streetcar. Unless you get right at the dock before it leaves your commute and wait time could be up to 1hr just between RP and Cathedral park.
