It's like $10.99 for a 12 pack of cans when it was $3.99 just 5 years ago. What did they expect?

A few months ago I opened the case at the end of the checkout aisle to grab a soda bottle and saw that they've leapt up from 99¢ to $2.59! It's like they just don't want us to buy their caffeinated fizzy water anymore!
