In the county I live in Eastern Ky 33.5% out of a total population of 16,293 of residents are on Medicaid, the nursing home will shut down, the hospital will shut down, and yes I will be affected also, all I can say is they will get what they voted for 🤷‍♀️

I live in Louisville; all this will do will overrun our already overrun metro hospitals since people will unnecessarily have to drive all the way here or to Lexington to see a doctor.

I’m a blue dot in red Ohio and my disabled daughter may lose Medicaid, but the only way to get change is for red state voters to suffer. I’m fortunate I’m still working and she can stay on my private insurance but I’m actively trying to move to a blue state.

My state of Mississippi is one of those red states which might be hit hard. Call me skeptical, but I don't think either of our Republican senators, Roger Wicker or Cindy Hyde-Smith will be losing any sleep over cuts to Medicaid.

They have to know this. I've always believed that the plan is to make States "beg" for aid - the make the aid conditional and the red states will qualify because they have all the things in place that the Republicans want - voter ID laws, restrictions on mail in voting, no DEI, etc.
