I saw reports of Biden being confused, garbling speech more than usual, and put it down to MAGA lies, AI Deepfakes, photoshopping, etc.. Dems relied on HONEST Dem INSIDERS to be FAIR to us & tell the TRUTH. They didn't have the STRENGTH to be RESPONSIBLE. It broke the Dem brand, betrayed our VALUES.
We Democrats put our TRUST in Dem officials who saw him frequently to be HONEST and FAIR, and PROTECT the party vs. what we saw at the debate. My rage is not at Biden, but at the people we TRUSTED to work with him, and the mindset that a coverup was ok. R told so many lies about him I ignored them.

It’s why I have turned off cable news. I haven’t watched CNN in 4+ years or MSNBC for 3 years. I was tuning in to listen to Nicole Wallace on Sirius but haven’t done that in 3 months. Surprising I remain well informed and much less stressed. Much like senate democrats, cable news is failing us

Allow me to rephrase. I couldn't believe that 99.5% of those who voted didn't vote for her and the same goes for Hillary. I don't know how much of it was because they were women, but a lot was due to the MAGA smear machine.
I also don't think Dems could have found a better candidate even if they'd had four years. If it was anyone other than Harris, people would have questioned Dem's judgment for ever putting her on the ticket. She polled better than Biden against Trump and had an energetic campaign.

Hillary won the popular vote in 2016. I don't think Kamala lost just because she was a woman and one of color at that and I still don't rule out election shenanigans.
This does not explain why we need to know this now, at a time when the guy who actually won is actively dismantling government. FEMA has basically ignored disasters even in red states like Arkansas, and CNN (and everyone else!) is all-in on "Biden's old" as if he lied about his birthday.
