I recall an interview I heard where a father and brother of a child that had been killed by a school shooter continued to defend the 2nd amendment. On the radio. It was surreal. Our beliefs can become a part of us. To let go is like removing an arm or a leg. Or a penis, I imagine.

I remember the stories during Covid of people who refused vaccination fighting with Drs in intensive care about their need to go on a ventilator for what they were convinced by the GOP and FOX NEWS was nothing more than a common cold. The GOP is a death cult. Has been for years now.
