1/ Okay, I overreacted with my 'idiotic fools' comment, for that I apologize. It happened cuz I said something Newsom, then shortly afterwards a progressive attacked me & said I was a 'sucker' for supporting him. Two wrongs don't make a right, and of course we all have a right to our own opinion...

I understand. No harm, not foul.

2/ but the reason I get so frustrated is because it seems there are many in our party who simply refuse to unify behind one candidate - no matter WHO it is. I've gotten into it with some of them on that other site over it. We did it with Joe, but we didn't do it with Hillary or Kamala. And we lost.

The thing I struggle with is separating the real from the not-real, the genuinely looking for interaction from the genuinely trolling shill. I've deleted my account 3x because I got so annoyed. It's hard. So frankly, I rarely try now and just say my say and try to be patient.

I appreciate your input. We're united in our disgust for Trump, but then we don't unite on election day. There are many millions of nonvoters that could've made a difference, but instead they did nothing. Trump voters, if nothing else, are very unified. That should be a call to all of us for unity.

That would indeed be smart.

Ultimately I will vote for ANY CANDIDATE who becomes the democratic nominee. I challenge others in our party to the same. Why? Thanks to Trump, women in many states have lost the right to choose. Now we're losing Medicaid & food aid. Immigrants are being terrorized. And all because we didn't unify.

I dont want to be a party of lemmings like the GOP, but I think the lack of loyalty shown to Biden was a massive turn off. I voted for Harris, dont get me wrong, but I found that whole thing was grotesque. I dont think that is why we lost, btw. I think it's more complex. Bye & TY for chat

I understand. 'Lemmings' puts a negative spin on unity, I don't really agree with that charaterization. I do respect our diversity, and during the primaries absolutely everyone should support who they believe is the best. After that, we need unity, or we will lose every time. Thanks for the chat.

The reference I made to lemmings is regarding the GOP members who follow whatever they are told to without thinking abut it. It's my team on the field kind of mentality, as opposed to what is good for the country at large. That isnt unity, that's brain wash. Really have to go open my new 📖 Bye 😀👋

I know time has passed this by, but I feel a need to say.. The Democrats or Democrat-adjacent who attack Democrats because they say something they don't agree with are victims of the radicalization process too.. We're all human, we're all susceptible to the same psychological realities.
