If I might suggest a Scots word of the day? Dour. As in, "There's nae pleasin yon dour bugger." Some folk are miserable and don't know how to interact with the world except for bringing everyone else down. I should know, I'm related to enough of them. You? You're doing great!

Okay...I'll play the role of your grandmother here...yes, I'm that old....not everyone is going to like you. They are probably people you wouldn't care to be friends with, anyway. Your biggest gift to the world is to be authentically yourself. To be the highest version of yourself you can be. 🧵

If someone chooses not to like you then - have you thought - it might just be a lack in them? Not you? If people choose to "gossip" about you behind your back I give you permission to ignore them. They don't seem to be very nice people in that case. Carry on being you...even on the imperfect days

I get it, I often think "why are people annoyed by me, when I am A DELIGHT?" You'll never please everyone, infuriatingly, but for what it's worth - you're fabulous :)

A question. What is causing this person's annoyance? Is it your defects of character or theirs? It could be the reason they're annoyed is because of something in their makeup not yours. You need to speak to them.
