I prefer to contextualize us as we are strapped in car seats with a drunk driver at the wheel… or are the smart minority unwitting victims of kidnapping at the hands of a heavily armed majority populace.

The problem is the minority rules because of fucked up representation. California has a zillion people, but two Senators. States like the Dakotas, Wyoming, Montana, Idaho, Alaska, etc. have miniscule populations & also have 2 Senators. This leads to things like them having too much power in the

The Electoral College is weighted unevenly as well. The inequity is unconscionable and the people in the largest states should be screaming- AND SUING to make it right… only to be opposed by representatives of the low population states which benefit most.

We didn't "all." That's what I hope the rest of the world won't lose sight of. Nor that we have a lousy Electoral College that in most states is "winner take all." I know that doesn't explain everything, but I have my theories.

I don’t even think the current administration cares enough about regular people to strap seat belts on us, let alone the extra protection of car seats. While MAGA is not the majority of Americans there are way too many people with multiple guns and stockpiles of ammunition, are they the majority?
