I don’t think that’s what they thought. Trump wouldn’t feel confirmed, bc Rubio isn’t one of his own. Rather, it’s my guess that they voted, because they’d rather have someone close to competent in that position, than some former Fox News host or Marjorie Taylor Greene or some shit.
