Hmm, I don't think its just 'Ascians again', theres an Ascian involved but they'll probably have their own motives, wouldnt surprised to see them ditch the old robes after their debut too

I think Winterers means the people behind the Calamity of Ice, which include at least one Ascian (obviously). It'd explain why the Milalla also had a place in the storyline. I thin Calyx is part of a project to create beings similar to Ascians (being able to be reborn via technology, like him).

Thinking more on it, if you store memories in a database, and you can imprint them on a different soul, it solves the white auracite problem. And that methodology fits with Necron as a "concept."
