I think you're right. IMO the people saying the bill will propel Dems to power in the midterms are missing a couple of points. The GOP know this, and will move to emasculate or just stop the midterms. Declare an emergency, suspend an election - didn't FL just do that with a mayoral one?

They’ll just claim the elections were rigged and deploy the military against any community that argues otherwise. I’ve been wondering if the obedience from these republicans is because they know elections will never be fair or free again and they’re putting their self-preservation over their country

Everything you’ve written here I’ve been thinking also. Pondering what to do when they come for me (& they will, eventually). I WILL NOT go with them; they will have to kill this me instead so I must provoke this to happen. This is what I’m planning for: ICE murdering a retired older lady publicly.

When they come for me, I won’t go with them. They’ll have numbers, strength. The place they want to take me to will have abuse, hardship, torture, eventual death. I can’t go there. So I must make them kill me here, in front of my home, in front of my neighbors and friends and husband, publicly.

Now is the time for the military to overthrow the current administration and demand a new election. The next election must have the largest turnout in history to show Republicans how small a following they have because of their performance & allegiance to one person rather than the nation.
