The economy wasn't working for the poor and middle class. Each president paid lips service to income inequality and congress and the senate didn't get shit done. So people elected the other side. Obama/Biden voters went to trump. Hold democrats accountable. Or we'll keep losing ground.

There are those left behind in any situation. There is truth to what you are saying but the numbers don't back Republicans as problem solvers on a macro level, ever. There were more jobs and slower accumulation of government debt during the democratic president's administrations. Full stop.
