I just started the tales of series when this demo dropped and I'm avoiding it cause I CANNOT afford to be invested in another series with so many games... That said, I got the demo downloaded and am gonna binge it this weekend 😂

From someone currently 6 games into the series I can say the demo is sweet. Combat feels almost completely different from where I’m at now in such an amazing and modern way. Many or most people will get held back by the fact that it doesn’t get this modern again for over 10 games in the series…

Bro, same. I was trying it out because Bsky loves to talk about this series, and between the combat system and witty dialogue between Estelle and Joshua that feels straight out of a late 90s/early 00s anime (positive), I put in a preorder. Definitely wanna play out the demo completely, at least.

While the dialog is lacking imo, the combat was fun, a unique take on the genre! I'm thinking of picking it up too. Also it's so funny they added Crafts in conjuction with Arts

The orbment system is really good. It’s like Maco but better. It took me a while to really figure it out but you have a lot of leeway to customize the characters and turn them into wagons.

They’re worth it, trust me. You don’t have to rush through them either. I’m taking my sweet time and have been taking a break after beating the 5th game.

That’s kind of a big investment to follow the series and my gaming budget is tight as it is.

Series. Game series of 14 games all being interconnected. U start at trails in the sky, followed by zero and azure, then cold steel then reverie and daybreak. All title changes Mark a Story arc in different countries on the same Continent Ypanning over 7-8 years in this World Its a lot. But its good

as someone who has just done 1-6 (near the end of 6 atm) it worries me with first chapter being remade.. because people being introduced with that then need to go back to the oldest graphics and game engine for the next 4 games lol

I have a lot of issues beyond that with the remake. But hey if they can get into trails that way its all I could ask for:)

it's totally worth getting into it.. in fact we met on here through you replying to me about starting at game 1.. but my experience of starting at game 1 wasn't a remake, it'll definitely be the best way to play and bring in new fans but with the rest not remade its a steep drop lol
