I restarted a Hollow Knight run and after wrapping up Expedition 33 I brought that run on stream. Got the strongest nail last night. Clean up begins Monday. I am a huge Metroid addict though.

Nice!!! HK is one of my all-time favs!! I do love Metroid too tho!
Ive had a HK itch for a while. Silksong is going to heal me.
Darn right š it feels unreal...
Reply older games is so comforting š
It issss š
My most favourite game of all time, Super Metroid was where it all began for me š„
Awww that's awesome!! š I didn't get to it until about 2002 or so, but its one of my favs! (I do admittedly like Metroid Prime more, but Super is a close 2nd š)
I sunk so much time into it as a kid š and Iām still obsessed with Metroidvanias today. Always chasing that game that gives me the same feels
Same!! One of my favorite genres!! š I just love exploring and finding those secrets!
Yes same, I love stumbling across hidden paths and treasures š
A fellow Prime fan? Hell yeah. šš¤
Hell yeah!
Fusion is always my go to for the nostalgia factor. I can't even count how many times I completed it as a kid. š„
I do enjoy Fusion a ton! Super has my heart for the 2D Metroids tho
I need to go back and play the older Metroids. I think I played a demo of Super one time and didn't fully understand the controls at the time so it was a little lost on me. š
Yeah, the controls are a bit different compared to the more recent ones, but they're not too bad once you spend some time with it š
I just bought a proper NES console a few months ago and haven't found a good CRT to set it up with, but I really want to play it with the OG control scheme. Nintendo Switch Online kinda messes with my brain sometimes. Lol
Thats fair! Lol I get that, especially with the Super Nintendo
You'd think it would be simple because there's only 2 buttons and a D-pad. And yet.... š The N64 games still throw me for a loop. I resorted to just using my right thumbstick for the C buttons because their mapping was WEIRD.
Yeah, the N64 is weird to get used to... especially in Zelda games lol
OMG yes. First time I booted up OoT I spent like 30 minutes trying to figure out the buttons. They just made no sense to me. š
Hey, I'm playing this one right now! Just taking a little break right now. š¾ Amazing quality for a game of its age!
Yay!!! Im glad you're enjoying it! š Yes, it definitely holds up incredibly well!
Not sure if it's exactly something you'd be into, but have you by chance played Isles of Sea and Sky? store.steampowered.com/app/1233070/...
I haven't played this! š
Excellent game, still in my Stack of Shame
Love this one to pieces!! š
Have you checked out maprando.com yet?
I haven't! That sounds interesting
