So many threads devolved to insisting "it's genocide and in genocide everybody dies so Trump couldn't be worse so he might be better". No daylight there! Trans folks I know IRL don't stick cis folks with the entire burden of understanding. Quite different on the digital soapbox.
"in genocide everybody dies" is especially incoherent when they're screaming "just because you don't kill literally everyone doesn't make it genocide" Which is true! But then you get to "how can we make that number lower," which means you can't say "it doesn't matter because everyone dies anyway"
That's often where the argument dies.
