They did nothing to hold him accountable, prevent his re-election, ensure rights protections or strengthen checks and balances. Biden appointed a republican AG who did nothing for 2 years, except possibly collaborate with the SC to prevent accountability.

None of that is true. They did everything they could within the rule of law. The Federal court system let him go. Cannon all the way up to the right wing on the SCOTUS had his back. You are blaming the victims of the vast right wing conspiracy.

The real problem was Wray. He was a Trump hire and he did exactly what Trump wanted from day one including when Trump asked him to step down this year. Garland should have canned Wray for "missing" 1/6, but he was a self-described "institutionalist", which meant hands off and let Wray run things.
