curious to know .. were you wide open at f1.2? What ISO? It looks like a phone light and I'd have thought you'd be pushing it to get a good exposure.

ISO was only 400 and I even had a shutter speed set to 500 Yes aperture was 1.2 on the 85 The light was a portable video light, set at about half power. Being so strong, I could dial settings down—and keep a strong contrast of skin in light and all the rest completely black
