...what entire Democratic party apparatus? Sorry; I think I lost track. Who are we talking about? There are a number of Dem apparatuses (apparati?) Most of them aren't PR. They're also not all in sync.

You're right there is no Democratic party only people who call themselves Dems. Wtf are you talking about?
“Sure I block off shit libs, and somehow I don’t get their messages except sometimes to dunk on them, why aren’t they reaching me”
Who are you even talking to?
There's no "entire apparatus" at anyone's back, here. That's...not how this works. That's not how any of this works. At *best* you might be able to say that of a general POTUS candidate in an election year. We're not in one, and there isn't one.
Look who owns the major outlets.
Bezos literally stopped WaPo from endorsing Harris and stifled a number of cartoons and editorials. The NYT...has always been like this. CNN and even MSNBC are owned by oligarchs who are deeply interested in their own bottom line. That's not even getting to the overtly RW press.
"The big reason anti-fascist messaging has so little reach is that most of our media power has consolidated in the hands of people who blame liberalism for fascism."
Mm, sort of. The "left" loosely defined blames liberalism for fascism. The center-right-punditry-whatever a) won't call it fascism b) wonders why liberals won't stop hitting themselves can seem like subtle difference esp when "left" & centrist pundits say the same thing (blame Biden, basically)
I took this up with the author of the article. The key point is our message isn't getting out. The messages are actually good and pretty popular, but the media isn't carrying them because ownership is from right to far right. Sulzberger is the left wing of media owners.
All I am saying here is that maybe before jumping on a blanket bandwagon of DEMS SUCK (and such small portions)--and yes I jump on bandwagons all the time too including that one--maybe stop sometimes nd do a little research, yeah?
"Democracy dies in Darkness" Also you're expecting too much of smol bean democrats
Read more closely.
(it's a joke, Jim)
