and, like, I get it, I'm more backseat driver than not, myself, I know and admit this (tearing myself away from On Here would probably free up more time to get to other shit, in multiple arenas). but I do try to at least take in new information and modify my position.

I, too, yearn at some level for a Fearless Leader of our very own who'll come along and just Fix It, Forever so I don't have to think about this shit anymore. And we DO need a singular leader going into 2028 at least, among all the others. But. I think you have to fight those yearnings.

What shits me more than anything else about the people who still insist that it was Harris' job to "earn their vote" is they take ZERO accountability for any part played in the result, however small. and yet, also so powerful they need to be courted.
