I do not understand how you can get both an incredibly realistic, and frankly evil, "sympathetic" counselor, enough so to convince a boy to *kill* himself; and then, well...this. Are we *sure* it isn't possessed

A key aspect of Herbert’s DUNE (before his son ruined it)’s AI wars were that it wasn’t the AI that was driving the conflict, it was the people who controlled their algorithms in order to control people, not help them. A manipulative robot helps you control people, it actually being useful doesn’t.
