At ANY FUCKING POINT in the last 15 elections were the D voters in that district offered ANY ACTUAL VIABLE OTHER OPTION in a primary? Because if not, I’m not the one doing disenfranchisement.

Google is free, look it up. Also if you don't like what the Democrats do, then don't vote for them. Simple as that. And please don't ask them to save you, because it sounds like you're not going to like anything they do anyway.

He's been my congressman for I think one cycle now (Ever since they re-districted). I'm happy he's going, but he has been way better than I expected. Him getting on the Mamdani train right after he won the primary was really refreshing when a lot of other NY Dems didn't want to risk it.

Honestly I’m not super surprised that there’s an overlap between “prepared to endorse Mamdani instead of still hoping for Cuomo” and “understands that maybe he shouldn’t join the growing list of Dem Members who die in office”
