Okay and? What do you want me to do about it? You aren't popular or admirable enough to force people to pretend to care. You seem like someone that would rant about empathy while being mad at your depressed friend for being emotionally draining.

I don’t know where this whole turn happened exactly, but I’m guessing it was around when I disrespected the troops or pointed out that torture is very much a war crime. The knee jerk defense of an institution with an authoritarian right wing culture is the problem I’m pointing to.
