. YES! I follow many, many cars AND BIG TRUCKS, that make little jerky steering moves (course corrections when they look at the road), so I know they are texting, playing with GPS, etc., etc.)

She’s a flipping nurse practitioner. She has undoubtedly seen the results of texting while driving. There is NOTHING so important you have to text it while driving. If it’s a life or death/ important pull over, take care of business. No different than drinking while drunk imo

I don't understand why people do this. A bluetooth earpiece allows for handsfree communication and can read texts and allow dictated responses. This technology is affordable and has been available for at least 15 years.

Most of the drivers blowing the stop sign next to an elementary school outside my house seem to not even see it The SFMTA told us not enough people have been hit by cars yet to make the intersection safer :(

The intelligence of someone videotaping their own crime is not to be believed.

This is sickening; should be loss of license for 5 years on first offense even if no one is hurt. This type of recklessness CANNOT be tolerated. How can this not be considered as bad as a DWI??
