You say that as if it’s not blatantly obvious that millions of them need that.
You say that as if it’s not blatantly obvious that millions of them need that.
It's being said. You aren't listening.
I’m not the target audience for this kind of thing. If there are widely prominent guys out there successfully doing this, then great.
Hey if you care about this kind of thing maybe you should be the person doing the world to help it :) mentor young men, my dad does & he finds it very fulfilling
That is the best thing possible on the individual level, so it's very important. I suspect that a huge majority of the young men who fall into the Tate-type messaging trap don't have someone like that in their lives. There's only so much impact one person can have without mass media skills, though.
I’m going to take umbrage with the verb “fall” here as it is entirely passive.
Is there a problem with women successfully doing this or...
If women could do this successfully, then of course not. Unfortunately, however, I have serious doubts about women successfully doing this, just because of who the target audience is here. Think about who the target audience is here and how receptive you think they'd be to women giving this message.
They, they, they. Not you?
I'm almost 40 years old and I'm married with two kids. I'm not part of the audience these messages need to reach.
You don't interact with your kids? You outsource your parenting to media?
They are also NOT the target audience dude. Like I said in a reply to someone else, I highly suspect that the young men that fall prey to Tate-style messaging are the young men who don’t have someone in their life to talk to or be mentored by. Others don’t need this because they have it already.
