Direct action gets shit done. Americans have been brainwashed into thinking that non violent protests accomplish anything. We've been protesting the oligarchy since occupy wallstreet and for what? They just ignore and gaslight harder. Martin was wrong. Malcolm was right.
Until we fill the streets of every city and bring the economy 2 a grinding halt, they will continue 2 press. Until the people behind the Administration are made 2 feel the power of the people, we will continue 2 lose ground. I hope for a peaceful, lawful solution, but I fear that window is closing.
100% agree with you. I’m doing my part by protesting when I can and a little good trouble. But it’s frustrating with my peers who feel they are powerless when they are not. That’s probably the biggest struggle is getting them to open their eyes without coming off as being a crazy conspiracy nut.
But I agree, the window is closing. I will fight to the end. My grandfather fought Nazis and I will not back down either. A Christ-facist future being smothered on us is no future I want to be in. So will go out fighting to the end. Just hope others can wake up don’t doesn’t go there.
I disagree, not just America but elsewhere it’s proven that non-violent action welcomes people to join the movement versus violent action. The fight against Oligarchy since occupy wall street was fizzled out by their tactics to divide us with the control over media where many believe is a safe haven
Non-violent movements educate people outside of that Oligarch controlled media bubble where most people get their information. As the resistance builds, more people become aware and join, and the power pendulum swings back to the People when we unite.
That’s when the power pendulum swings back to the people. We feed the capitalist machine that the oligarchs depend on. As long as we are kept distracted while feeding the machine, they win. Going in with violence is going to deter the message and power. Just look at BLM as example.
In the beginning, the movement was powerful and exponentially gaining steam. That’s until people started rioting, people were getting injured or killed, and property of good people being destroyed. You and I may be willing to risk ourselves for that fight, but most would run from it back into caves
