In the same genre, I'm fond of Army Knowledge Offline akoffline.us, which an NCO made to replace the list of weblinks the Army deleted when it ended its Army Knowledge Online website. (And I've just read on their About page that they aren't going to maintain it due to ETS. Ah, well.)
