As a severe introvert with anxiety, I would have killed someone to possess something like a smartphone as a kid. So my instinct is to be totally against banning cellphones. Also, in the age of school shootings, I can't support cellphone bans.

While in school, kids can have a "dumbphone" that lets them call their parents and that's it. Smartphones distract from learning. This is a different issue from "no smartphones/computer at all."
You want a machine that is proven to worsen anxiety earlier because you have anxiety?
I want something that holds my music and favorite tv shows to help keep calm. Maybe a couple of stress-free games to distract myself.
"Children can use smartphones to watch TV and play games during class" is really not an argument for *not* banning them.
This device sounds like the perfect thing for a learning environment
As someone who still has PTSD from a learning environment, I would agree
People like you are the second biggest opponent of children actually being educated, second only to republicans themselves
I'm pro educating kids. I just think that the way we do it in public schools can be very damaging to some of them. Or a lot of them. The research is a little lacking
