The original also says most fiction is algorithmic slop except anime, and frankly the funniest implication ever made on 4chan is that the *anime industry* is so wholesome and attentive to the needs of its artists as to avoid this at all costs out of moral principle

1:1 is not very correct to say about "most" anime but the bulk that's created -- and the bulk that sells -- adapts existing manga since the industry began
I'm moreso riffing on the industry's famously horrible working conditions in many cases (not saying they're exclusive to anime), which should dispel the notion that the "heart" of moe anime is down to magnanimous avoidance of robots
