It really does. I was a big, "Gas or bust!" guy and then once I started using induction I was really sold. Boils water easily, super precise temp control, and easy to clean.
and doesnt send the air quality in your kitchen to steel mill levels every time you turn it on
(though I have a burn on my hand because I stupidly kept a metal utensil sitting on the stove that was close enough to pick up the field and get incredibly hot)
yeah i once was making pancakes and accidentally cooked the batter in the stainless steel bowl.
