I'm not gonna deny things have gone backwards with regard to trans people in Scotland. However, independence & the ability to pass laws on media reform and politicians' lying would improve the situation. A lot of the hate has been imported by evangelical Christian hate groups from the US that...

... are throwing £ at politicians, media & hate groups. I think an independent Scotland where we keep the ECHR is essential. You know they'll come for trans people & immigrants first, but it won't stop there. Everyone's rights will be violated.

I get the feeling most won't bat an eye when me and my people are fed to the meat grinder and afterwards there'll be surprise for waking up in fascist Britain after offering us up as a sacrifice

I don't think it's that useful to place a lot of the blame on US evangelicals. Ofc theres been lots of funding but the UK has it's own grown hostilities and funding too
