I never saw FEMA despite being in multiple state declared emergencies - what I did see is the 1000s of blue tarps on roofs, trailers delivered, white tents set up to help complete paperwork and the money that rebuilt roads, raised buildings, addressed drainage etc. You are not the Red Cross✌🏼🤨
You deserve respect not the derision you have gotten. It is terrible watching the political appointees/elected knuckleheads making decisions gut your mission while not understanding the role you play in an emergency.
