I am skeptical that any deal would be honored. why negotiate with someone like that?

Sen. Lisa Murkowski said she feels ‘cheated’ after she won a concession in the recently passed tax and spending law to protect wind and solar projects, only to see the president and his administration issue recent orders that she said seem designed to quickly quash such projects. ‘I feel cheated,’ she said in an interview Friday. ‘I feel like we made a deal and then hours later, a deal was made to somebody else.’

or this - he's blackmailing states with funds due to them - and you're going to play nice with this man and his minions (who shouldn't be minions, they're supposed to be a separate, equal branch of the government)

Not co-equal (at least on paper). The Legislature is Article I and ostensibly has the power and authority to unilaterally remove a President or Supreme Court Justices, whereas neither the Executive nor the Judiciary have the power to unilaterally remove even a single member of Congress.
