I hear ya, maybe just 1% serious lol. Seriously though I rolled my 401k into a Roth IRA (it was in Fidelity so it was somewhat easy) which sat for 10 whole years before I realized I had to invest it in something after rolling over 😮‍💨 (then did this the literal week before the pandemic hit) 😭

I mean you don't HAVE to invest in it, you could just let it ride in the stock market, but the stock market is kinda shitty and tbh you have to have a lot in the stock market to make even a little bit. So once again it's geared toward people who already have a lot of money to invest, but whatever

It was invested in "fidelity cash" which is literally just the US dollar. Live and learn I guess. Nobody teaches you this stuff!

I always dreamed that if my business took off I'd hire all the best people I met throughout my life, and we'd all profit share and carve out happy little fulfilling jobs for ourselves and have fun doing it. This is why I will never succeed lol
