There are also economic reasons. Blue states can’t just recreate Medicare, Medicaid, & social security. And states can’t run deficits, so in the case of a disaster the fed government is needed. States can’t create international trade deals. The list goes on….

Those are all realized if all of A) doesn't happen. I'm thinking I feel definite A) vibes from this republican crowd. They are literally begging to have the military sent to take over their cities. There's not a bridge strong enough that will make that gap.

Also, pretty-sure most people want no reconciliation with people who can't be bothered to try to learn, and especially, the same people, having such wildly variable beliefs and ideals.

This all started out because the Democrats were thought to be a child sex trafficking cabal hidden in the basement of a one-off family pizza joint, that has no basement. Now they see the cabal, they want to talk about non-existent crime waves needing military presence.

I, for one, think the best I can do for the least of them, is prison term, a payment plan so each person can begin to pay for the damages they have caused, and loss of voting privileges until they prove mentally capable of complex decisions, and ONLY after their debt to society is paid in-full.
