Yeh, it's mentioned in the article you're replying to "Out of the International Association of Genocide Scholars’s (IAGS) 500 members, 28% took part in the vote. Of those who voted, 86% supported the resolution. " Have a great day
Also the organization has started accepting "artists and activists." So not genocide scholars and dissent isn't allowed.
Bruv, I saw the article this morning, didn't read it, thought of you. There are more orgs and govts calling Israel's tactics war crimes than aren't, if this is the hill you want to die on, I'm sure future generations will be proud of your commitment. Adios!
You've said goodbye to me about three times now. Yes, there are a lot of organizations that have those beliefs. Those organizations all have the exact same prejudices and biases. That is how systemic and institutional biases work. They do not require personal animosity.
I really could care less about your opinion which is all you've been rambling about, how you know better than everyone else what is actually going on. Good for you. History always gets the final say. Don't you have an op-ed to write somewhere other than here?
Yes, I can tell how much you don't care about what I have to say. Let me put it this way, if I describe something terrible that a Palestinian does, the responsible very often will be something along lines of "You have to understand that they have been radicalized by the Israelis." Okay. Fair.
Yet, if I describe something terrible that an Israeli says, they just are called "genocidal maniacs." There's never any understanding that Israelis, too, can be radicalized.
That is a double standard, but doesn't fall under the rubric of what people usually consider "illegitimate" criticism. It's just baked into the system. It's just an unconscious bias. I'm describing those things for you.
I don't need you to describe anything for me. Are you assuming I'm stupid?
Everyone can be radicalized, we're all humans and all humans are capable of the same things. Do you talk down to everyone?
You're an asshole who likes to put words in other people's mouths so you can then explain the words you put in their mouth in order to feel superior. Fucking pathetic
