The best night sky I've ever seen was at Kielder in the UK. I had trouble at first recognising the constellations as there were so many more stars visible. It's a Bortle 3 location which is pretty good for the UK. Would love to experience a Bortle 2 or 1 one day 😀

Excellent! I live on the outskirts of Bodmin Moor in Cornwall which is technically also a dark sky location, but the sky is usually too cloudy to make best use of it.
