Can someone who knows cognac - point me to a really good VSOP? I’d like to try it but I’m more of a champagne or scotch sorta gal….

I’ll second the Kirkland as a solid intro choice
A little bit of a curve ball. Depending on your palate, a 20 year old Graham’s or Cockburn Tawny is an interesting gateway into cognac
Good cognac can be expensive! Hennessy probably a good place to start!
Remy Martin is solid for a VSOP. Hot take, the Costco Kirkland brand cognac is better than Hennessy and cheap.
I recommend Spanish brandy. Better quality at a lower price. Gran Duque dAlba, Cardinal Mendosa.
Remy, or courvoisier are my go to cognac. For context my preference in single malt leans toward Isla whiskies.
