I don't think assessments are a bad thing, there are malingerers who should be weeded out. But assessments definitely should not be done by private contractors with built in financial incentives to boot as many people off benefits as possible. That was immoral.
BUT THEY ARE STILL DOING IT!!! And plan even worse. And what's Labour's answer when AI is used as an excuse to defer responsibility and accountability. When the jobs go and the out of work in even more hardship what then? Workhouses? Nice little hotel collectives run for profit?
