If Poland is under attack, shouldn't NATO be mobilising to defend Poland? Isn't that literally what kicked off WW2?

The attack isn't conventional. Belarus is inviting migrants promising them a route to Germany. But what Belarus actually does is transport them to the Polish border (normally one wouldn't be able to be in the Belarus border zone).

It's also important that it has been happening since 2021. Back then they also sent women and children and now it's mostly men, often with tools provided by the Belarusian authorities.
